Bought something at a Wal-Mart, price is lower online...?

I bought a pair of earphones at my local Wal-Mart for $20. I'm browsing on walmart.com, the same earphones are $13? Can I complain about this and get the difference back? Or would I only get reimbursed if another chain's store had a lower price?

  1. I say complain. they may reimburse you but they don't advertise it. so no promises but it is worth a try.

  2. difference is $7.  is shipping included?  do you have to drive to walmart and back to get refund and you will also have to wait a couple of days to get your earphones.  have to figure out if it is worth it.  also maybe there will be a line at walmart.

  3. It's the prices of regions. The online store sells at prices of that region. When you go to your Walmart you pay that region prices. If a store in New York pays employees more than the one in Alabama, it like that. Complain at customer returns troll.

  4. a trick peopl use is they might set a low price online so you think your getting a good deal like 5$  or something and then they might charge you 10$ shipping and handeling when it only cost them 2$ to shitp it so they end up gettting more and you pay more.

  5. Well, it doesn't really surprise me that is was cheaper online, but I suppose you didn't get a good deal.

Go to Wal-Mart's customer service area, and tell them.

Even if they don't give you the difference, what's the worst that could happen?

  6. Yes, call them. But I think there's a reason things are listed at a cheaper price online. They can explain it to you.

  7. i say go and complain!!!

  8. i would go ask if they say no return the item, & then go buy it online.

  9. Never hurts to ask....be sure and take proof.

  10. simple

    don't shop at wal-mart!
