Bought used lap top need hard drive to fit

Question

I bought a used toshiba satellite 1955-S805 laptop, It did not have ahard drive. I purchased a harddrive and it has too many pins (44) and is aquarter inch too short to reach the pin block. Is there a connector that goes in between the 2.5" hard drive and the toshiba 40 pin block?
