Bounce Dryer Sheets?

How are you suppose to use the the dryer sheets when the box says do not come in contact with fabrics? The box says to put in dryer with clothing yet no contact with fabrics?

  1. The only thing I use Bounce dryer sheets for is to  keep the mice and chipmunks out of my car.  Scary thing is that it works.  Makes me think that they are strong enough to stain some fabrics so it must be a disclaimer as your previous responders have said.


  2. I've never even noticed that on my box!  I just throw it in the dryer with the clothes and turn the dryer on - been doing it for years and I haven't had any problems, but gosh, what a silly thing to put on a box of dryer sheets!

  3. This warning is put on the box as a disclaimer in case some fabric is damaged in the drying process.

    They are legally covering their backsides.

    I would think that if a fabric is sturdy enough to go through a washing machine, it would survive a dryer with a fabric softener sheet.

  4. I guess what they mean is don't let it sit directly ontop of clothing. It does seem impossible. Just take your clothes out of the dryer asap and don't let it set ontop of wet clothes.

    Sometimes spotting and marks can occur, I never had that problem though. I guess they're just covering their a$$!
