ok so i worked for my uncle and he owes me some money lets say 300 to make this easy, he worte me a check (250) and it bounced so he gave me cash (300) to cover the check and fees, well the bank sent me a check "voucher" (not sure what its really called, but it is a copy of the check my uncle bounced) so it says i can use this as a normal check. my uncle still owes me money on top of what he paid me for the check (since the check was 250 i say he owes me 50 still since the additional 50 in cash was for fees), and he is saying he isnt going to pay me the extra money(plus more money which has added on over the past month so he owes me roughly 200 lets say for teh sake of keeping this easy), so the question is should a use the thing the bank sent me and get my mone or should i wait and make him give me cash

  1. You can try to use the check that bounced.  However, I would cash it at his bank.  This way, there will not be any fees deducted from your account if the check bounces again.  Plus, his bank will cash the check if there are sufficient funds in the account.  If not, the bank will not honor the check.

  2. You can try to cash or deposit, i would try to cash it, because if you uncle put a stop payment in that check, it will bounce again, and your bank will charge your account .If he put a stop payment, they'll let you know at his bank as you try to cash it.

    Good luck
