Bouncy Bouncy expected to win Saints & Sinners Racenight Handicap
Bouncy Bouncy has won the best odds for winning the Saints & Sinners Racenight Handicap at Hamilton in England on Friday, May 18, 2012. The winning horse will be given away a cash prize of £3,235.
A total of 11 runners had lined up for action at Hamilton and their names are as follows: Bouncy Bouncy, First In Command, Crimson Knot, Breezolini, Weetentherty, Angelo Poliziano, Cayman Fox, The Nifty Fox, Vhujon, Frequency and The Bear.
Out of the above mentioned runners, there is a doubt over the participation of Frequency, who is a seasoned gelding. He has participated in 45 events until now, winning nine of them and could have won decent odds for victory in the race.
The going at Hamilton will be good to soft and the speed of all participants will be tested, as they will have to cover an overall distance of 5 furlongs and 4 yards.
Looking at the statistics of all horses, the bookies have favoured Bouncy Bouncy, who has a decent record in the sport. Her recent form has also been good, which will certainly attract a lot of bets from the punters.
The five-year-old mare has participated in 19 races until now, winning four of them and finishing runner up on a couple of times. Moreover, she has also secured the third place on four occasions, which shows that she consistently fights at the front.
In her most recent outing, the Michael Bell’s trainee performed extremely well, as she finished runner up, despite not getting very good odds by the bookmakers. She gave a tough time to the winner and lost by just a head distance in the end. This shows that
she is carrying excellent momentum at the moment and it will be tough for her rivals to match her speed.
Bouncy Bouncy will be partnered by seasoned jockey, Stevie Donohoe, who is a decent rider, but does not have a good strike rate. He will need to win with a lot more consistency in order to attract more bets in the future.
Other than the race favourite, First In Command, Crimson Knot and Breezolini might also manage to make a solid impression in the race at Hamilton.
