Bouncy Bouncy likely to bounce back in Betfred Goals Galore Fillies´ Handicap at Southwell
Bouncy Bouncy has shown significant improvement this year and despite the fact that she is unfamiliar to the Southwell track, one can expect her to fire in the Betfred Goals Galore Fillies´ Handicap on Wednesday afternoon.
The 5-year-old made her seasonal debut on a winning note last month. In the digibet.com Handicap at Yarmouth, the mare performed magnificently, seizing the top rank by 1¼ lengths.
She did such a fabulous job that no one could stop her from winning. After an excellent win, the mare was expected to continue her good form, but failed.
At the end of last month, she finished fifth in the freebets.co.uk Handicap (Div I) at Doncaster. Had she put in an extra effort that day, she would have finished a bit higher on the table.
Today’s 5f meeting is an ideal chance for the mare to prove her mettle. Let’s see how she manages things to keep her head high.
According to the plan, the Class 4 race will be kicked off at 16:00 GMT. Among the confirmed entries are: Bouncy Bouncy, Gorgeous Goblin, Fair Passion, Wicked Wilma, Bailadeira, Jameela Girl and Enjoyment.
Gorgeous Goblin is another recent winner. In her penultimate appearance at Southwell, the five-year-old performed superbly, sealing the top place in the Mirror Punters Club Fillies' Handicap.
The David C Griffiths-trained did a fine job right through the event, beating the 5-4 favourite, Da'Quonde, by 1¾ lengths. In her most recent outing, the bay mare ended up third in the 32Red Handicap.
She remained unlucky, as she missed the runner-up position by a head’s distance.
Wicked Wilma is another dangerous runner. Alan Berry’s trainee is making her return after staying out of action for more than seven months.
The eight-year-old was not impressive in her previous outing in September last year, when the audience at Ripon saw her finishing third in the SIS Live Handicap (Div I).
According to our calculations, it is going to be a tug of war between Bouncy Bouncy and Gorgeous Goblin. Our vote goes to Bouncy Bouncy, who is performing decently this year. We wish the best of luck top everyone.
