Hi everyone,I just got done watching a Dog the Bounty Hunter marathon. I totally understand how the system works of bail bonding so there's no need to explain that part to me.The question I had was in regards to when FTA warrants are issued and Dog has "x" amount of days to capture these fugitives before DaKine bailbonds is responsible for the bail amount. I was wondering if the bailsbondsman is still responsible for the bail amount if the fugitive (on the FTA warrant) was brought in by police instead of the bounty hunter. The reason I ask this is because there are situations where police may show up at their location (in the Dog show) but the bounty hunters will still do all the legwork. Also is there some kind of provision in the bail agreement that the bailsbondsman must return the fugitives in the same shape they were in when they left jail? Ex. why are they always searching them for drugs? Is it for their benefit or that of the fugitives?
