Bourneville Gold to grab the Grade A1 480 metres Flat at Perry Barr on 13th March
The Grade A1 480 metres Flat is to be held at Perry Barr on Tuesday, 13th March. The prize money for the race is worth £97 and has a lineup of six ready to reel in for the wire tonight.
The lineup includes Farley Denny, Bourneville Gold, Mountleader Les, Magical Force, Barracuda Flicka and Movealong Joker.
Leading for victory tonight is the most accomplished on the lineup, Bourneville Gold, Ace Hi Rumble’s three-year-old black son out of b***h Coyote Bessie. He stretched his winning streak from 10th January to 18th February.
He won a Grade A3 480 metres Flat at Perry Barr on 10th January. He was across the wire in 29.15 seconds and battled for victory by a narrow margin of ½ a length from the runner up of the race, Droopys Magda. It took the runner up 29.19 seconds.
The 5/2 favourite, Farloe Ally leaped to the third position after racing for 29.31 seconds.
Next victory knocked its way in on 20th January in a Grade A2 480 metres Flat at Perry Barr. Bourneville Gold was on the other end of the wire in 29.25 seconds, yet again the victory did not come easy as he had to snatch it away by a mere neck’s
margin.
Daisyfield Royal, the runner up raced through the wire in 29.27 seconds. The 5/2 favourite of the race, Kilaharry Royal settled into the third slot after the winner.
Completing the trio and striking a hat trick, Bourneville Gold led the track by 1 ¼ lengths and covered the track distance in 28.79 seconds. The runner up, Dower Fern, joined the winner on the other side in 28.89 seconds. As if repeating the pattern that
was being followed in the last three race, the favourite ended up finishing third.
This time it was Swift William.
Stretching the streak to a four, Bourneville Gold won a Grade A1 480 metres Flat at Perry Barr on 18th February by timing the track distance in 28.63 seconds while in lead by a length. Move Over Rossi was the runner up while the 9/4 favourite,
Movealong Joker concluded the race sixth.
Today he has the chance of getting back to the routine of lining up victories.
