  1. It was made if I remember by Cadburys

  2. Obviously Cadbury. (From Bournville). Recently demerged from Cadbury Schweppes. It's a malted chocolate drink. It is spelt Bournvita. I have seen it on internet. Google Cadburys Bournvita. It looks like Cadbury are going through some changes so maybe there is a production problem.

If they have stopped production, which seems possible (malted chocolate?? Sounds a bit 60's doesn't it?) maybe the rights/brand will be sold on.

  3. Matthew, it was made by Cadbury.

However, they have recently stopped making it, I'm sorry to tell you.

At the moment all you can do is sign the petition below.

Once they have enough signatures, it will be sent on to Cadbury. I know the chances are nothing will be done, but it's worth a try.

(By the way, I'm sorry to hear this news. It was a national icon once upon a time.)

  4. It is apparently still for sale in India. The television show "Kya Aap Paanchvi Paas Se Tez Hain" (Are you smarter than a fifth grader? - India version) has Bournevita cups prominently displayed on the children's desks. Though the version I watch on the internet does not have commercials, they seem to be sponsors.

  5. used to be made by cadburys i'm sure.Maybe they don't sell it in the summer months?

  6. Bournvita is definitely made by Cadbury Trebor Bassett, same contact no. as Cabury's drinking chocolate. Only place I can find it is in a local "corner shop" so reckon it is not being made anymore and their's is old stock.
