Boutique and Bistro?? (american girl)?

Question

I have been wanting to go to the American Girl Place in Chicago but i live in Gerorgia. And they just opend a Boutique and Bistro.

Is it the same as american girl place? Can you get your dolls hair done go to the cafe is it the same? please give me details cause i want to go soon i have already looked at the website and i cant find the info i need please...! help if you know anything more!

There are a few differences between the flagship locations and the Bistro's.

Flagship locations carry ALL of the AG product lines. There are also Theaters, Photo Studios, and items for purchase that are exclusive to AGP LA, Chicago, and NYC. The flag ship locations also have personal shoppers that can help you with all your purchases and ship them home for you.

Check all of the locations you are interested in. Each location also has events special to those areas. You may want to schedule your trip around an event. Many times those are more fun then just walking in the store. Also, you may want to decide if you would like to take your trip and include the AG theater productions. The Photostudio at AGP locations takes pictures and makes the person in the photo look like they are on an AG Magazine.

Menu's are different in each location. You can see the different menu's for each location on the website. Those menu's change dependent on the time of year you are going to be going.

The doll salons are the same between all the locations. So that is simple to answer.

Not all of the AG line of products and dolls are available in the boutique locations. Also, AGP locations have personal shoppers available for you and they can ship items back to your home for you.

Another thing you may want to think about is sales taxes. Each city and state has a different level. You may want to see what the difference it would be compared to where you live.

There is an  American Girl Boutique and Bistro in Dallas and yes it is a regular store but they also have a bistro inside.  The one in Dallas is two stories and the bistro is upstairs and the store is down stairs.  I'm sure the one in Chicago is the same.
