Boutique for Local Designers in Kansas City?

My sister and I are thinking about starting our own boutique. We were thinking of doing something for local designers in Kansas City to help them get started and sell their clothes at very reasonable prices. We'd sell clothes, hand bags, jewelery, etc. Does that sound like a reasonable business that could do well? Something that would work in Kansas City North?
