Bow Making?

Question

I know this is a long shot that someone from my area will see this question, but I wanted to ask anyway.

I have the desire to learn to make a bow (archery type) and I have read just about everything I can find on the internet, but I'm more of a doer than a reader. I am looking for someone in or near the city Evansville, Indiana that makes bows and is willing to teach me or at least let me watch the process of one or two being made. If anyone here is from my area or if you read this and know of someone in my area that may be willing to let me watch or teach me, please reply and let me know. Sorry, I'm in Michigan but...I felt the same tentativeness about building my first longbow, and am now on my 23rd!!
