I've had these boils for awhile, and i started to take these pills that were Turmeric capsules, i heard they help boils, well ever since i took those pills I've had no bowel movement and tried to make my own e***a (dumb) and i really don't wanna try that c**p again, i was wondering if a suppository would work better or prune juice, metamucil, i mean ANYTHING but an e***a because i have bowel movements but i can feel inside that its so hard and dry and won't come out

  1. Pop a couple of laxatives and wait.

  2. try castor oil to soften the stooles[2 bucks at cvs] then drink a large mug of very strong coffee to stimulate the colon.in 30 minutes you should have a screamer.note follow dosage on castor oil bottle.have orange juice in glass to chase [its kinda nasty]

  3. ripe kiwifruit, about 6 - 8 an night. if the stool is compacted at the exit then it will be difficult to pass. use of manual means is permitted.

  4. I would purchase a stool softener which will help get things moving, and drink the prune juice. I've never tried a suppository.

I tried to give myself an e***a once, but I just couldn't get the 'thing' up there! Hah.

    .

  5. drink a lot of water and your doctor can give the best answer but somebody who answers your question by be close or say the same thing your doctor says

  6. DIY enemas are not a good idea, eat plenty of oranges (or juice) stop taking Turmeric capsules (may not agree with you) take Garlic capsules instead because when you come out in boils its usually  something to do with your blood and Garlic helps purify the blood (gets rid of any nasties) drink plenty of water and take regular exercise (swimming, walking) diet plays an important part in the production of boils, so make sure your eating plenty of fruit and fresh veggies and less fatty foods) it sounds to me as if your constipated so definitely watch what your eating,  don't go mad gentle exercise is good. lol

  7. Take a laxative, make sure you are drinking enough water.

  8. You may very well be impacted.  If you are, it will require being done in the hospital.  It can get like cement...impossible to move.  You don't say how long you have gone without a movement.  If it's been 5-7 days, you need to take immediate action.

However....you should try some other things first.  Go to the drug store, buy two bottles of Citrate of Magnesia, or better known as Magnesium Citrate....either, it's the same. It's in a 1/2 - one pint green bottle.

DO NOT GO ANYWHERE BUT THE BATHROOM, after drinking these!!!!!  Drink [chug] one whole bottle, straight down.  It's really nasty tasting, but works.  Hold your nose if you have to, to avoid the taste.  Wait an hour.  If you don't have a BM....chug the second one, non stop.

If you have just a little watery stool, after the 2nd bottle, this may be some fluid that has been able to pass by the impacted stool....Another sign that you may be impacted, and need more aggressive help.

If THIS doesn't work, you need to go to the E.R.  Good luck!

Addendum:  As far as the "boils" are concerned...are you sure they are boils?  Staph infections/abscesses are RAMPANT now, everywhere....MRSA is very dangerous, and needs antibiotics.  Please have a medical evaluation for these "boils."  You should better be safe than sorry...Please don't diagnose yourself...You don't want to end up in the hospital with an infection that has gotten out of hand.

  9. It sounds like you are impacted...this may sound gross but you may have to put on a rubber glove and do some finger manipulation. I would definetly cut out all starch, banannas, meat for a few days. do the finger thing, then take a good strong laxative

  10. Drink Milk of Magnesia. See a Dr. about the boils which are probably hemorrhoids.

  11. Doctors in hospitals prescribe stool softener pills AND fiber supplements (try all natural psyllium husks that spoons into water like name brands, b/c Metamucil has sugar) for patients after surgery to help things come out easier. Consult a doctor soon if things don't improve.

  12. fruit fruit fruit!!!!!!!!!!

    prune juice works to.

  13. If you are seriously impacted you may need to go to a hospital emergency room for treatment.  If not, liquids, coffee and a laxative should do the trick.  Serutan is a fairly mild laxative recommended to pregnant women who are highly likely to be constipated.

  14. Hi Bitbusterlash,

drink maybe three, four pints of good water over about 2 hours followed by large mug of very strong coffee and don't go far away from the toilet.

    Blessed be.
