Bower William dominant in the Stadium Bookmakers 480 metres Trophy – Heat 3
Bower William is the strongest link in the line-up of the Stadium Bookmakers 480 metres Trophy – Heat 3. The 480 metres flat race is scheduled for Monday, 23rd July at Nottingham and has £125 prize money set as the reward for the winner to take
back for the connections.
Participating in the challenge today are Borna George, Salacres Fever, Confident Martin, Chicago Prince and Headleys Ego.
The lightly raced two-year-old blue dog started the career on 29th May, 2012 at Belle Vue over 470 metres. After breaking from the second gate he led, raced by the rails and then won from the middle after taking 28.31 seconds while leading by
eleven lengths.
Settling right behind the winner was, Maudlin Suarez.
Bower William’s second career try was in a 500 metres race at Nottingham on 4th June, 2012. The race was won by Fabulous Fashion who timed the track distance in 30.73 seconds and won by the margin of 1 ¾ lengths.
On 12th June, Rumble Impact’s son won a 480 metres race at Monmore by racing quickly away and then taking the rails’ side. He made it to the other end of the wire in 28.75 seconds and defeated the runner-up, Rebellious Style, by half a length.
The blue son out of b***h, Droopys Patty, then won a 480 metres race at Monmore on 19th June, 2012. Taking off from the second stall found him racing by the rails, and not giving up the lead until the race was concluded in 28.67 seconds. Winning
by the margin of two lengths had him setting Rebellious Style, as the runner-up.
The possibility of striking a hat-trick vanished in the third position on 5th July at Monmore over 480 metres. The race was won by Ballymac Eske who went through the wire in 27.71 seconds.
The final success of the P. Rosney trained was in the Betfred ‘Home Of The Big Winners’ Maiden 480 on 9th July, 2012 at Nottingham over 480 metres. The favourite entry clocked the track distance in 29.19 seconds after breaking into an early pace
and then dominating the rest of the distance.
