  1. Bowling is in the Commonwealth Games, so is archery & Rugby!! yea....can't beat the Commonwealth Countries!! God Save the Queen and all of that!! lol

  2. Hey don't forget horse shoes, lawn darts,and croquette

  3. badmitton and table tennis is a sport?why not pool golf or bowling

  4. Golf will be in 2012.

    I don't know about pool.

    I've been a bowler for 25 years and the reason for it not being in the games is that the lanes are oiled to make the ball skid in the front part of the lane and hook at the end. Lanes are oiled so differently country to country that it is a very different game around the world. Oil the lanes one way and one country will when everytime, oil a different way and another country will when everytime. You could lock out certin countrys just on how the lanes are set up. If there was a world wide standard it could get in. The USBC has been tring for 20 years to get bowling in and this is the issue that the IOC always comes back to.

    For the record the only people that say bowling is a game and not a sport are those that can't do it well!! I have a lifetime 218 avg and would gladly bowl anyone of you "it's only a game" people in a 24 game sweeper for $1000 bucks and when you fall out after 8-12 games just tell yourself it's only a game!

  5. Bowling, no.

    Pool, maybe...  it would be interesting, but there'd be debates about it being an Olympic sport.

    Golf, yes.  It's a sport, it's outdoors, it'd be competitive.

    Rugby, I think they should seriously consider implementing this as there isn't a contact sport at the moment besides direct fighting.  This could replace baseball.

  6. Bowling = I don't think so because its more of a game. By the strength of those athletes they'd get a strike every turn!

    Golf = Where exactly would they play?

    Pool = I don't know.

  7. Although I'm not sure about billiards, bowling and golf are not currently Olympic medal sports because the IOC claims that their setup can be manipulated toward certain players.  Bowling can put down a blocked oiling pattern and a golf course can be modified through watering or mowing.  The IOC doesn't want the field the athletes are playing on to be biased.

  8. NO, because they a games not sports
