Question:

Bowling question?!!?

I've been bowling all my life and recently I joined two summer leagues to keep me in the swing so I can be ready when school bowling starts back up again. When I bowl (I'm right-handed), right when I'm about to throw the ball, my hip locks, and it causes my whole leg to get stiff. So by the end of my games, my leg is achy and hurting. Is there any way to stop doing this? Imagine trying to run and slide on carpet, you can't do it. Thats whats happening to my left leg. The hip just locks and it causes my knee to get stuck and that causes pain.

Could I wear a knee brace to help? Any ideas?
