Bowtime Honcho hoping to win Sprint Trophy
Bowtime Honcho is supposed to unleash immense firepower at Nottingham racecourse and complete his hat-trick by winning the Heat 1 contest of Betfred.Com Sprint Trophy, on Monday night, April 2.
The high-profile Open Race, over a distancec of 305 metres, will commence at 20:36 (GMT). The total prize money reserved for the event is £125.
Bowtime Honcho is geared up to run against:
Glengall Flash,
Hazy Purty,
Newmac Premier,
Night Flash, and
Gold Finch.
The J. Sharp-trained black dog accomplished two back-to-back triumphs during the last month.
The first race took place at Sheffield on March 20 while the second one was held at Nottingham on March 26.
These wins came after a gap of almost two months. The dashing dog won a race each, in the last two months of 2011.
Overall, the four-year-old veteran runner has been a consistent performer since starting his career with an amazing hat-trick.
The favourite hound’s last two triumphs have built up his confidence to a great extent. Currently, he is looking to be fairly strong.
As far as tonight’s contest is concerned, the son of Top Honcho out of Tracys Hero, has as high as 90 percent chances to finish first, provided he manages to maintain his winning momentum.
Among Bowtime Honcho’s rivals, Glengall Flash and Night Flash can perform convincingly and pose some arduous challenges to the hot favourite hound.
Glengall Flash made his debut on January 20, 2012, with a runner-up rank.
After winning two consecutive races during the very next month, B. Green’s black dog went on to achieve a victory along with a runner-up position in March.
On the other hand, Night Flash won a race each, in February and March 2012.
Prior to this, the brindle dog bagged a couple of consecutive victories in June 2011.
In this situation, a neck-to-neck competition is expected among the above three runners.
Bowtime Honcho is required to fight with his back to the wall in order to get a breakthrough.
Good luck to all the contestants.
