Bowtime Honcho looking solid in Owlerton Bookmakers Sprint – Duplicated at Sheffield
Bowtime Honcho knows Sheffield’s track very well and has an obvious chance of swaying things in his favour in the Owlerton Bookmakers Sprint – Duplicated, to be held on Tuesday, July 10th. The 280 metres sprint is scheduled to begin at 19:42 (GMT).
J. Sharp’s charge clinched a comprehensive victory here ahead of his fourth place at Coven. In a 280 metres race, the black dog ensured the top rank by one and a half lengths. After such a fabulous win, Top Honcho’s son failed to perpetuate his good work,
when sent at Coven at the start of this month.
After getting bumped at the first bend, he was in no position to do something special. He is returning to Sheffield with plenty of determination and will be in good position to blitz the opposition.
Among his rivals in the £200 event are: Turnabarson Blue, Foxy Red, Duke Box Melody, Battyford Nicky and Rockchase Jack.
Turnabarson Blue is due a big run after an unlucky trip lately. After topping the table by six and a quarter lengths, he could not continue the good work and as a result, fell third last time around. L. Stephenson’s trainee is more than capable of producing
a brilliant effort, but will have to put his best foot forward in order to steal the show.
Rockchase Jack has been struggling with his form since a convincing victory at Romford in late May. Despite a slow start, Duke Box Melody clocked a decent 16.13 seconds last month. Foxy Red has recently run many good races, but in defeat.
Battyford Nicky won two back-to-back triumphs prior to her fifth position at Kinsley last weekend. She certainly needs to improve in order to beat this line-up.
Bowtime Honcho is well capable of winning this kind of races comfortably. However, it will be interesting to see how he unleashes his best to put the campaign back on the winning track.
Turnabarson Blue also has a good chance of doing a decent job. Out of others, no one is likely to make things problematic for Bowtime Honcho. We wish the best of luck to all the runners.
