  1. It doesn't matter if it's right. RC did it anyway. Clint Bowyer should keep the points he earned.

  2. To me it is not right,,, but this all has to do with Cheerios not wanting

a driver from a former rival sponsor , the Kelloggs car. This is what I

read on other nascar news pages.

  3. Ya know what I say, C is for Cheerios and Clint and Casey!

J is for Jack Daniels but not Casey or Mears.

  4. I'd be pretty ticked if I were in Clint Bowyer's shoes. I mean, If some "average" driver gets hired by my boss, and suddenly I'm booted from my established team to go join the new team he supposedly would join, I would be mad.

I think the Jack Daniel's sponsor fit Clint. Cheerios and Clint just doesn't seem right. Like Budweiser and Kasey Kahne.

  5. to me there is nothing wrong with that .because that is up to mears if he wants to go to jack daniels old car

  6. bowyer seems to be alright with it

i think general mills is putting up more money than jack daniels

  7. The #33 is a new team and Childress trusts Bowyer to make the field every week and do good in the car. That says something about his trust in Bowyer.

  8. the 07 sticker is coming off my truck window at the end of the season!!!The JD car looks way to cool for a wannabe like Mears to be wheeling it 'round the track

  9. I think that General Mills is stupid to force Richard to make that move. They want Bowyer in it because they don't wan't the guy who drove the Kelloggs car to drive the General Mills car. So they'd rather have the guy that drove the Jack Daniels car in it. That doesn't make sense. They should have put Casey in the #33 and left Bowyer alone. I'm sure they will make it work, it just doesn't make sense.

  10. Bowyer definitely got the raw end of this deal. He is having to move from what I believe is a more public sponsor AND Mears gets to keep the 07's owners points from this year? So, Bowyer is going to have to qualify his way into the first 5 races of the year next season.

I am all for trying to satisfy the wants of the sponsors, from a car owners perspective, but this type of thing needs to stop. By agreeing to not put Mears into the Cheerios car simply because General Mills didnt want to see Mears move from the Kellogg's car to their car is ridiculous. If anything, General Mills could spin it to make it look like they "stole" Mears away from the Kellogg's sponsorship. So, because RCR agreed to the demands of General Mills, there is a possibility Bowyer could miss some races next season.

  11. I don't know the exact reason why they are doing it but if it helps bring in sales of memorabilia and generates more money then that's a good thing. As far as right or not? If all parties involved agree then I guess it is right.

  12. No that is so unfair to that whole 07 team! I would rather have Bowyer over Mears anyday! It just isn't right!

  13. this the newly most asked on question on answers. no it is not right.

  14. Yes

    Sir/Mama

  15. No it's not right....but if a sponsor comes up to a team owner, says we pay you "x" amount...but we don't "y" driver....we want "z" with the economy the way it is and sponsors hard to find as they are....Cheerios pretty much got it the way they wanted it. If I was the CEO at Jack Daniels...I think I'd be calling RCR. Just an opinion as always.
