Box spring or bed frame?

Question

I want this bed and because I can't find out where I can buy it i've decided to make it from scratch.

I know what I'm doing with the headboard but not sure about the bed.

Someone said I should get a box spring on casters but I'm not too sure what that is. I don't know whether the get that or a bed frame......it's all confusing to me. So i need advice on which would be better and also how much it might cost but that's not too important.........thanks to any help........=]

I think a metal bed frame will work just fine. It will save time and money. Hope this helps. Good luck with the project.
