  1. yes

  2. yeah that's what i do put up some chicken wire and you should be fine in my garden i also have a small pond for my turtles

  3. yes it will be like box turtle heaven,if you dont mind them eating all the veggies.and make sure there is bugs in there with them too.

  4. ofcourse...they will be more healthy then in a tank. Just make sure they have a bowl so they will climb so they have some water.

  5. that would be a wonderful home for box turtles, just make sure that you have large saucers of water available and some hiding places

  6. Actually if you create a habitat that is safe in your garden you wont have to worrry about certain garden pests like snails, slugs, catepillars...your boxie will keep them at bay...

but remember to set it up so that the turtle wont run away by putting a little fence around the garden...they can dig under fences, and climb wire fencing...they are grrr8 excape artists...and dont forget a large wide plant saucer recessed in the soil a little so your boxie can swim and drink...when you water your garden then do not remove the dish to wash...just add water and let it over flow a little...this will help create water that will contain algae and proper nutritiion for the boxie...and dont forget a bite of your bananna, raw corn on the cob, crickets, slugs, snails, worms and other goodies...and check to see if there is a turtle club near you they will help you tremendously...

  7. Providing it is:

    Warm enough-

    There is enough to eat-

    There is enough to drink-

    Chemicals/pesticides are not a health issue/threat-

Fertilizers are not a health issue/threat-

    then the answer is yes.

I hope this has been helpful.
