  1. JUMP ROPE.

    also, hit the heavy bag

  2. You have to do something that will disrupt your breathing pattern.  Call it cross-training, interval training, fartlek training, or whatever; the key is to periodically alter your workrate.  This will cause you to increase the rate at which you recover from exertion.

The link below is the 1st thing that popped up when I typed "interval training boxing" into a search engine.

  3. What can help if you are really having problems sticking to running is doing an actual sport to get fit. That way your mind is actively engaged on other things rather than just concentrating on the pain and "when will this be over already"

I always found long runs and circuits like watching paint dry. But where it hurts the more you watch it!

You may be like me that gets fitter better doing something more interesting. Soccer, rock climbing, mountain trail hiking, whatever. Why not actual boxing since you are here?

  4. doing jumprope is really good. also running helps alot. how long do you run? and how often?

  5. keep running: run long distance of 3 miles and run sprints too

if you have access to a pool swimming laps will also help.

only time and hard work will build up your stamina. go to crossfit.com for more ideas

  6. Swimming is excellent for building the stamina and not too exhausting.

  7. You should try wind sprints.
