Boxer male and Chihuahua female?

Ok I am not kidding.

I actually saw this today. I was driving to the hair dresser and saw on the side of the road a chihuahua female and a male Boxer going at it.

Didnt see a tie, and I beeped the horn they went apart from each other. NO owners in sight for either dog.

What would you do? I know the owner of the boxer and called her, but dont know who the chi belonged to.

The thought of chi boxer puppies (male being the boxer) scares me.

Any thoughts?

if puppies result more than likely the female will die.

just more irresponsible owners out there.

Well, I hope to God that the Chi was spayed. If she got knocked up with Boxers the poor girl would likely explode.

Yikes.  I don't know what I would have done.   Hopefully someone knows the owner of the chi - or they are going to have a big surprise in a few weeks!

Wow. The Chi needs to go to the vet ASAP. There is no way her little body can handle pups by a Boxer

i would have grabbed both. returned the boxer to the irresponsible owner and tracked down the irresponsible owner of the chi.

BTW: where have you been? how's Kendall?

i have to ask why a boxer that bites is running loose?

a lady i work with had her 6 mth old pit/chi put down last yr. the aggression was too much for her.

as for the other, agreed it's actually pretty dumb to grab dogs you don't know. i always react first. surprisingly, i've never been bitten.
