Accoring to my brothers B.M.I, he is overweight, but he doesn't look it at-all !

He eats more then the reccomended 2500 calories a day, but it's all muscle.

He's a boxer and takes part in intense training sessions nearly every night. He's really fit.

Does that means he's ok, or because he's got so much muscle do the health risks that come with being over weight appy to him ?

Does he need to cut down his calories intake to lose weight ? I know he will probably just lose muscle, but at least then his B.M.I will be normal, but the thing is, he doesn't even look overweight. . .

Sure his arms are really big, but it's obvious it's muscle. It's solid.

  1. He could be fat on the inside. Which is worse than being fat on the outside. If, he have internal fat, it accumulate around the organs and do more damage than the Belly Tool Sheds.

    This the link;

    My B.M.I. is not important. Though it is starting to get border line of too high.

    Mine is from less activity lately, as my Calorie intake is from 2400-2800.

    I really do not think B.M.I. is a true measure for Body Builders, Athletes, Pregnant Women, Elderly etc. it more a guideline for the "Average Joe".

  2. He is healthy!!! The boxing doesnt help with bruises internally, but his BMI cant apply here if it is too high, since it is all muscle. He doesnt need to lose muscle. The only thing i would say is for him to get his Body Fat % down, that way he will get chiseled and not look SO musclular
