Boxers or Briefs?

Question

My Captain has told us to wear briefs for the cricket match we're playing this next time due to "embarrasment to the team" last time we played of which I was unavailable to play in. I can't really adjust to them, worn boxers since I was 4. Should I really wear them, boxer briefs or boxers or briefs under boxers.

Revised response: I see nothing wrong in wearing briefs if your captain feels that that will do the trick.. You can certainly wear briefs under your boxers and feel embarrassed for thinking about your other two balls while running after a bigger ball.

I reckon you should wear briefs. I know it's maybe not fashionable but they're more practical in this situation.

If you're embarrassed about wearing briefs then just put your boxers on top.

Len Anders, he means under his whites yu goose! yeah, I have seen an instance where a player had only boxers under his short whites and when he fell over his crown jewels could clearly be seen.lmao, it was a sight for sore eyes. lol

I'm surprised in this day and age anyone would order a player what underwear they must have on - especially just briefs with all of the choices of underwear style available these days.  If the problem resulted in people not wearing underwear at all than that is of course different than if the problems occured with the players wearing boxers.  

As a guy that only wears boxers that's what I would stick to since wearing anything else just isn't comfortable, even in sports for me.  Perhaps you should try something more between boxers and boxer briefs, like those Boxer Matrix slim fit boxers from Calvin Klein or tapered boxers from Jockey.  Still a bit of room for comfort but just a tad snugger for fashion and containment.  There's also Under Armour designed for sports in various fits from boxers to compression shorts that might be worth a look too.

I wouldn't suggest briefs as they can occasionaly increase complications to injuries from constricting blood flow and forcing body parts in to unnatural positions should an injury occur.

You should always do as your captain tells you, whether it suits you or not. And yes, you should wear briefs, as I have seen several of those 'embarrassing' scenes and it ain't a pretty sight! lol
