Boxie set to bundle success at Henlow – Stondon Stayers Preview
Boxie looks to be in a position to show a decent run at Henlow racecourse on Thursday night, March 15 in an effort to notch up top spot in the high-stakes Open Race of Stondon Stayers.
The £175 contest of 692m Flat distance is scheduled to begin at 22:18 (GMT).
G. Box’s black dog is geared up to compete against Aldataro Lass, Blackrose Monach, Shebas Flight, Moaning Penny and Ardmayle Zorro.
Since the beginning of the calendar year, Boxie has been performing well. The three-year-old veteran runner won a race each in January and March 2012.
The dashing dog finished second each in two consecutive races during the month of February.
During July-August 2011, the maverick hound bagged four excellent triumphs in a row. As a whole, he possesses an outstanding track record.
The son of Droopys Vieri out of Dark Rose is carrying abundant of form and fighting spirit at the moment. He is filled with enthusiasm and firepower which he will unleash at Henlow.
Boxie’s chances to thrive in tonight’s event are as high as 85 percent. However, two of his competitors named as Moaning Penny and Shebas Flight can give him enough tough time.
Moaning Penny hiked her confidence to a great extent by winning a race each in January, February and March 2012. The D. Whitton-trained b***h delivered some outstanding performances during the intervening days.
The daughter of Westmead Hawk out of Florida Penny accomplished a marvellous hat-trick during June-July 2011. She won a couple of consecutive races during September-October 2011. She will show an impressive run tonight.
On the other hand, Shebas Flight won two consecutive races each in September and October 2011. The N. Savva-trained black b***h went on to bag another big victory in the month of November.
The daughter of Westmead Diver out of Jumeirah Sheba will fight daringly for the top spot.
