  1. Don't get involve in boxing, it's really different than karate and kung-fu.

  2. Go to your local boxing club. . .

  3. Well First off it depends what type of boxer you want to be.

If you want to be a power boxer, and get alot of KO's  you should begin to lift alot of weights. If you have a punching back, it would be good to buy wrist weights and punch the bag while wearing them.  Doing that would increase speed as well.  If you want to be a speed boxer instead of putting alot of power in your punches, try to punch as fast as you can for as long as you can.

But really the first way to get started is to find a partner and get some boxing gloves for the both of you.  Then see if both of you can train at least 5 times a week.  But if you can't just   do the basics by yourself

Punch, dodge&Weave.  Also watching Professional Boxers would help alot to.  Like in basketball watching Tape of people helps.

So, I would try and find, some Ali,or Roy Jones Jr..to help as well.
