  1. you need to join a boxing gym to be be able to learn things like this

  2. For left hook depending on if your right or left handed... left handed would be right foot foward left foot back... and twisting left foot towards right foot on your toes and pushing hip out in the direction you intend to strike... pretty much the same goes for everythings just visa versa depending on fighting stance and style

  3. Well, if your an orthodox fighter, your right foot will be slightly in front of your left, and your left will be almost shoulder width apart from your right. When you throw a left hook with your right foot leading, throw it from the hip, but dont throw it way beyond its target.

  4. During the left hook, the lead foot pivots in an inward manner to transfer bodyweight. The right hook's pivot is identical to the cross (assuming the boxer is orthodox). The lead uppercut, like the jab does not use any pivotal motion, the power comes from the on the transfer of bodyweight to the lead foot. The rear uppercut employs the same inward pivot as the cross. To maintain balance, both feet can step, pivot or slide as appropriate.

some steps to improve foot work include

    Step1

Keep your weight balanced on both feet.

    Step2

Stay on the balls of your feet so you can attack, spin or retreat quickly to safety.

    Step3

Practice moving side to side or in a circular motion around your opponent.

    Step4

Shift and shuffle your feet quickly, but keep them close to the ground so you have a solid base under you.

    Step5

Switch stances often when training. This means you'll change which foot is in front.

    Step6

Work your calf muscles by jumping rope, biking and doing bag drills while moving constantly.
