Boxing help?

my friend has boxing matches in his basement and im scheduled to fight a kid about 20 pounds heavier than me n bout 4 inches on me. ive never boxed before but im quicker than him n more conditioned hes not tht tough but he has power. wat should i do

  1. Don't stand there and trade punches with him, or you will get knocked out. Throw one jab and move back, another jab and move back. When he comes forward you counter him with a jab and right hook. When fighting someone bigger than you, fight smartly and you will do fine.


  2. If he is orthodox (right-handed), move to your right, away from his power, if he is a southpaw, move to your left.  Don't trade with him and use constant movement, and use the jab- that is the most important weapon in boxing.

  3. First off, make sure you're not boxing on top of bare concrete.  Don't ever fight on that, you could end up labotomized if you get knocked onto your back.
