Yes, i believe a disqualification on hopkins' behalf will result in joe calzaghe to win the title... that probably is hopkins best option and prob the least humiliating...because JC will annahialate him

If Bernard Hopkins gets disqualified, then yes, Joe Calzaghe will become the new champ because a DQ is a loss on your record.  To answer your second question, no, a DQ is not the same as a TKO.  They are both losses, but if it did happen in this fight, it would not count as a TKO victory for Calzaghe; he would not get another KO on his record, just another win.

A good example would be the second fight between Mike Tyson and Evander Holyfield- Tyson was disqualified, so he got a loss on his record and Holyfield got a win, but Evander did not get another KO/TKO on his record.
