  1. I'm a MMA fighter and I can tell you that those glove boys can deliver a punch like a f-ing freight train.

    definately not panzy.

    grew up loving the sport

  2. Have you ever stepped into the ring with a good boxer under their rules? I have and I can tell you they are nythin but a painsy. See I actually train a martial art, unlike you, or you wouldn't make such a ridiculous statement. My knowledge of martial arts goes far beyond popping the top on another one and yelling at the screen and high fiving your drinking buddy's like you actually did something.

God I feel sorry for people like you.

This is also not a question.

  3. boxing is a manly sport

  4. Can't agree with that dude i admit ufc is more brutalier with out a doubt but boxing is more dangerous if u think of it cuz you are manily goin fo the head nd in ufc its da whole body so with all those blows to da head can s***w u up... email me if wanna have a debate ova this peace

  5. Tell that to Wladimir Klitscho right before the bell rings.

  6. You could probably say the same thing about other martial art sports.e.g. Taekwondo, Judo, BJJ, Muay Thai, Sanda.

UFC is the sport of MIXED martial arts. In order to have mixed martial arts, you need other martial arts. And you need people that are awesome in just one specific martial art, otherwise the quality of mixed martial arts goes down.

  7. not in the least bit. boxing is way more tougher. boxing matches can go 12 rounds or more. ufc fights usually get stopped a few seconds into the first round. all you have to do to win a ufc match is pretty much just knock down your opponent and the ref stops it. they should give him a 10 count like in boxing.

  8. Abosolutly not.

You question is worded as to be interpreted like this:

The UFC and it's fighter perceive boxing to be less dangerous and thus less hardcore sport than themselves.

No. Of course not otherwise the all the fighter's wouldnt place so much stock in having a boxing coach..or two. On top of all the other coaches...including kickboxing ones. All the fighters usually love and go to watch boxing matches. Boxing is critical to some fighter's strategy...chuck lidell.

If you meant to say however,

That compared to the ufc, boxing is a pansie's sport then:

Absolutely not also. Boxing is actually far more dangerous. Because they dont have the options that mma fighters have. MMa fighters can grapple, or just hold each other and stall much longer than boxer are allowed to. MMa fighters have options. MMA fighters dont have to stand for twelve rounds taking nothing but beatings or get knocked out. I would say boxers are more hardcore than mma fighters. But i would say as a corallry that mma fighters are much more technicaly sound and effective. For example, people nowdays hail someone as the best boxer in the world. 10 years ago that same guy would have beeen hailed as the best fighter in the world. MMA took that away. Because MMA fighters have options like in real life.

Boxing is a panzy sport. Some people tell me that the gloves are bigger and thus better cushning than mma gloves. That assumption is terribly wrong. MMA fighters dont punch nearly as hard (despite having the advantage of a small punch power to surface area of glove ratio) as their boxing counterparts. ANd boxer have much bigger gloves. Boxing is the ultimate in two guys sluggin each other, Thats why boxing hasnt died out...it test the will much fiercer than most mma competitions ive seen. and Im a much more diehard mma fan.

    I hope this helps thnx.

  9. Thats not a question.  Thats just a dumb statement.

  10. no.

U get paid more in boxing.

ppl good at boxing will stick to boxing.

ppl good at nothing will find other ways.

dont u realised UFC is more like wrestling? who ever goes down 1st = loser , the other guy will jus sit on him and... the end.

UFC is more brutal, but that doesnt mean boxers cant be brutal too, they just cant be bothered cos they make so much more $.

  11. Actually your head sustains more damage in boxing then i UFC. So you will likely have problems the rest of your life. The UFC makes fighters played often but boxing is much more dangerous as it could result in death and the risk to die is higher in boxing.

  12. First let us take into account the number of professional athleats that have died in the boxing ring. Boxing is more specialised, and tends to appear less violent, but when it comes right down to it neither is realy a "panzy to the other".

If nothing elce ask yourself this, would you rather get caught in a hold and tap-out, or be given a concusion before you have the option of quiting?

  13. I don't think so. I think they're both equally brutal in their own ways. They're both considered contact sports.

  14. do you mean boxing is a panzy sport in comparison to UFC?

  15. i wouldnt say that. but i agree that UFC is way more intense
