  1. Ditto what the two previous answers say...,but one more thing, are you punching with the correct technique?  Are you throwing hooks into a swinging bag and making poor contact?

  2. Slow down and take your time and don,t try to kill the bag

  3. I don't think boxing is hurting you per se, but you might want to get checked out by a doctor to see if there is anything wrong with your hand, arm, or shoulder that is being aggravated by boxing.  You might want to get examined just to make sure that your arm and shoulder are healthy and that boxing workouts are safe for you.  Especially if these pain symptoms persist over time.

  4. Well with doing any type of exercise, you have to make sure you're doing it correctly. and the way it sounds is either you wrapping your hands and wrist wrong or you're punching the bag incorrectly. 1st off you don't have to hit the bag as hard as you can, all you're trying to do is build your arms up and practice throwing your punches correctly and that doesn't take alot of pounding. just check a booklet to make sure you're wrapping your hands right and if you're just starting to work on the bag just ease up a little when punching it.

  5. Sounds like you over doing it. Make sure you leave adequate time for you body to heal. Punching a bag hard put a lot of stress on your bones, it can even cause micro fractures. These will heal up fine, even making you bones stronger, but it takes time.
