Boxing or MMA?

which would you prefer to watch in ?

I prefer boxing. Don't get me wrong... I love to watch MMA when it is good, and the thing is, I think MMA is at its best when it is standing up. When it goes to the ground, I really cannot stand it. It is so incredibly boring. Boxing is just the best part of stand-up.

boxing easy you dont no wat to expect in boxing but in ufc the bells rings and then the match is over it is too quick...........if a boxer had a fight with mma boxer wud win because the ufc person would have to run in to his puches first and boxers are quick strong agile and more but ufc is sum times is more agressive but if you go on youtube and type in boxing boxing knockouts it shows you sum life threatning punches ii really want to see ufc vs boxing fight.....

I prefer watching MMA. It's usually more exciting for me. It's where you can see fast pacing, and knockouts in every weight class.

boxing-MMA is just 2 guys on top of each other cuddling and not hitting each other.MMA is usually over after only a couple hits-boxing is a ton of hits.

I,m glad you asked this question. There is not another person on the face of this earth that likes seeing some one getting their head tore off. I don,t care if it,s a Zebra crossing a river in Africa or a guy snow boarding off of a 50,000 foot cliff but when it comes to MMA I just don,t get it. There have been a lot of spors that tryed to replace boxing there is no other sport like it. Two MEN standingtoe to toe duking it . Not some guy wearing short shorts with his nutts layed out on the canvas. Now if you like seeing two guys in a 69 more power to you . Take a good look around the arena there are a lot of people wanting to come out of the closet at thoes matches. I have a question for you guys who know nothing about tthe sweet sciance? Where did all these whit guys come from did they win the olympics or something. And where are all the black guys.Be truthful wioth your self . From a business stand point the people are doing a great job of marketing IO just wish I had thought of it first. Get two white guys in the ring that no one has ever heard of that have good looking bodys and put short shorts on them and let them bash the h**l out of each other because one of them punch hard enough to brake an egg and then let the fighters say when they have had enough by tapping out. Go back and listen to what Floyd Maywheather said to Rick Hatton he asked Ricky are you ready to die for the title I am that is the contract every boxer signs before he get,s into the ring. Boxing is real my friend. t. I don,t want this to sound like I don,t respect white,s  because I do I respest all fighters I am just pointing out a fact.

hitting the S**t out of their faces and body  for 12 rounds is aswome

wrestling in the ground and grapling is just too boring for me . if their standing up the whole fight then its great

Boxing. Every aspect of Boxing is more exciting than MMA. The actual fighting. The build up. The atmosphere. It's much more respectable. Truly in MMA, if you are big and strong, you can defeat anyone with no skill. Look at Kimbo Slice. They have him  as some kind of freak show on EliteXc because he is big and strong. Boxing is much more evenly matched which always calls for a better fight.

MMA. Its not even close. Did you see how hopkins acted like he was hit low in the calzaghe fight? Blacks are to weak to fight in mma. There are no crybabys in ufc. Whites have already taken over boxing. The heavyweight champion and the next 4 contenders are all eastern europeans. The light heavy champ, middleweight champ. Whitw,white white. The thing is, mma is based more on strength. Have you seen olympic weight lifting? All White. Strongman contest? All white. boxing is more a speed sport, thats why blacks can run and survive for a decision for 12 rounds. AND THEY STILL LOSE!!! One more thing, boxing is on the way out. The Cotto, Margarito card was free. Delahoya card free. Hopkins, Calzage card free. They cant sell it anymore. Same night b-hop and calzage fought UFC had a card. More people PAID to see that than Watched Calzage beat the black boy. END OF THREAD.
