Boxing profession?

i was wondering where and how you become a professional boxer, i know you need to workout and stuff like what kind of places would i go to to start and how to become a greta boxer- of-course winning is apart of it

dont count on a career in any kind of fighting, your gonna be doin it for free for a longass time before u ever go pro and even if u do go pro u could still be left with nothing very easily

you don't simply just become a professional boxer like someone becomes a professional of any other job. You need to join a boxing gym, have an excellent amateur career, and maybe then become professional.

I have been boxing for a while and truth is I love the sport but I wouldn't go for a career in it, I don't know how old you are now but chances are its too late to be good enough to beat out the guys who've been doing it their whole life, experience is huge in boxing, also it takes forever to go pro, like a couple hundred amateur fights

the key is to find a good boxing gym around in your area. Find one that turns out amature and pros and if you got it, then you could make it.

you can't just become a pro boxer.  you have to have determination and the will to fight. something most people will never experience.  anyone without training or stamina could beat a professional athlete trained to box if the athlete wasn't willing to fight.

Go to a boxing gym, and talk to the trainers there about your chances of becoming a boxer.

It is true that it is not at all an easy profession to take up, and that many amatuer fights are needed and your first few pro fights will be for next to nothing...

However, there have been a few boxers of note who started boxing after they turned 20, among them was Rocky Marciano, and even the current heavy weight joke Cry Baby Joe Mesi.
