Boxing question?

Im 15 (boy) and i go to the gym about 4-5 times a week. I run and i use a C2 rower.

Im thinking about getting a punching bag because its an exercise i can do at home and ive heard its rather good for building up my strength and fitness.

Anyway im wondering if a) it will stunt my growth and b) will it damage my bones because thats what ive heard as well.

I want to get a heavy bag and yeah ...

so please help any advice would be appreciated.

  1. punching a bag will not stunt your growth or wreck your bones, the lifting of weights will at such a young age, however, it can be prevented if weights r done correctly and a minimun 3days a week, id recommend taking boxing classes and you can learn the art of boxing and have a chance of competing 1 day
