  1. well I suggest u start lifting soon it really does help in almost all sport. Then try running more to build endurance because u never know how long a fight can last and it can be tiring if ur not trained for it. Second make sure u use good form when punching because if practiced wrong could easily break wrist. As for rest u just need experience to pick up on that.

  2. a good regimen is to do shadow boxing in a mirror at first. a couple  three minute rounds. this helps to loosen up and warm up as well as watching and perfecting your coordination and technique. then hit a heavy bag. this builds up your power and strength. by swinging the bag and letting it hit your stomach and chest and shoulders this helps to develop your "taking"a punch . if you have a speed bag fine add that to your workout. that builds speed and coordination and timing. also if you have someone to work out with you can spar afew rounds. jumping rope builds your legs and endurance, as well as your rythm . finish with some calisthenics especially situps.  if you got the time run acouple miles and build that up to as much as you can for cardio and wind. after a couple months of working on your own ,you can join a gym or boxing club and not be worried about being embarrassed as if you wernt in a good condition!

  3. HIT THE GYM KID

  4. Ok,I box im 29 and 0, and one draw..for footwork put a ladder on the ground and manuver your feat in the steps crossing and what not.

You can never run enough run a few miles a day. Also do a lot of push ups and sit ups.eat a nice diet mostly vegetables and lean meat. But what division are yougoing for?How old are you?

  5. I call bullshit on he bloke who reckons his 29-0.

If you wanted to be good at tennis.. you would go play tennis.

If you wanted to be good at soccer.. you would go join a soccer team.

And if you want to be good at boxing, you join a boxing gym. There are no shortcuts where you can sit at home and do it. It will not work. If your serious, go to a gym.

  6. you don't need to go to a fitness gym to start boxing you need to go to a boxing gym where you will find a boxing trainer. hitting hard and fast comes from propper technique which you need to go to a boxing gym to learn. to keep your balance you need to learn foot work which you need to go to a boxing gym to learn and how to take a hard punch depends on your conditioning and for that you need to do lots of hard work at the boxing gym.

  7. Until you find a trainer and a gym, just do roadwork to get your endurance up.

  8. Well for starters don't go full out on the bag when ur just sort of training (Im assuming you have a bag). Your gunna wanna just practice the regular **** like a right hook block jab jab left hook. Just practice some combos as if you were in a real fight. But when your in a fight be patient because the worst thing you can do is go full out in the first round and lose all your stamina and get knocked in the second. So wate for you opertunity. If you catch the guy with his gloves down swing ur right hook.

Then for getting better just start lifting weights and running. It will build your stamina and strenght.

    Good luck in the future.
