Boxing trainer Orlando Cuellar believes Oliveira will knockout Freitas – Boxing News
Orlando Cuellar is confident that his fighter Michael Oliveira will knockout Acelino Freitas in their match scheduled for June 2 at the Conrad Punta Del Este and Resort Casino in Uruguay. According to Orlando, this is Oliveira’s chance to expose Freitas
and to show the world how good he is.
In his recent interview, Orlando spoke about his fighter’s preparation and his plans. He said, “Not only will Michael expose ‘Popo’ – I know this is a bold statement – but he will stop him. This is a great opportunity for Michael on a grand stage. ‘Popo’
won’t finish this fight on his feet. Michael will beat ‘Popo.’ He’s shown progress in fights as well as in the gym to make this leap up. He’s been sparring with world-class fighters and doing very well. Freitas is a step up for Michael but ‘Popo’ is not as
young anymore and he has been inactive for awhile. Michael is younger, bigger, faster and stronger.”
He added that even though Michael lacks experience, he still is a very capable fighter who is very observant, a quality that will make him win the fight. Orlando said that Michael has been working hard in the training sessions and now he is ready to give
the world a shock.
Orlando further said that Michael has worked hard on dropping his weight while maintaining his strength, adding that Michael has been eating right and working harder than he ever has in his training sessions. Orlando believes that as soon as Freitas sees
Michael is such good shape at this weight, he will immediately lose his confidence and his jaws will drop.
Lastly, the highly respected trainer said that Michael has lost weight yet has managed to keep his muscle density intact, which means that he now has more muscles yet he is lighter. According to Orlando, being lighter will give Orlando the benefit of being
speedier yet powerful and resilient.
Freitas and Oliveira will headline the ‘History in the Making’ card. The bout will be a 10-round one, which according to Orlando is enough for his fighter to knockout Freitas.
