  1. The footy show is Sammie.

Famous people can always raise awareness about medical issues, and the plight of under-privileged.

Sam will be a different person, whether he chooses to or not. He had a close call, and this in itself will give him a philosophical way of looking at life, and how  people will naturally expect him to give guidance to other men in the same situation.

It certainly took a lot of intestinal fortitude to allow himself to be videoed when he didn't now what the outcome would be.

    Life is sweet.

  2. Thats great news!

It just wouldnt the Footy Show with out Sammy.

Noone could do Street Talk like him

  3. Glad he will be OK. Just wish we could see the Footy Show each week in America.

Another blunder by Andrew the Rocket Scientist and/or wanker.

  4. Excellent News

  5. Leaving aside the Footy show - which apart from Sam and Garry Lyon is pusillanimous - you would wish prostate cancer on nobody.

Please guys, get checked out for the male-oriented cancers, and girls, do your bit with Pap and mamm tests!

And Sam, hope you are healthy, heated and horrible when the AFL Footy show recommences.

  6. great news, im a big sam fan, it just would not be the same without sam on the footy show, sam and trev make the show

  7. glad to hear he is ok, prostate cancer is no joke, a simple blood test can tell you what's up

  8. i wish sam would go away and go away from the footy show

  9. yes it is good news, he annoys me at times, but 90% of the time i like him, he does a lot for his friends too.

does think the avereage person is below him but thats just sammy.

geelong man, why cant you watch the footy show at channel nines web site, can you do that? i'm not sure. worth lookin into or hey, move here or get someone to dvd it to you each week.

  10. Sam is alright, I don't like the footy show though.

He'll enjoy a better quality of life now because he will value it more.

  11. its great to see him well

  12. I have always liked Sam might not of always agreed with him but I do have sense of humour.

I am glad to see him healthy and I thought 60minute was great last night.

  13. Yes, it is a huge relief.

The show certainly wouldn't be the same without him.

I keep looking back at the footage on 60 minutes before he had his eye lifts done, I wish he hadn't done that, he was so much nicer looking back then.

    Great News Sammy :))))))

  14. i am happy

  15. I love Sam Newman, and I was shattered of the news.

He is human with feelings and family just like us.

And yes the Footy Show would not have been the same without him.

They would have gotten Shane Crawford to take over his position and that would have been a nightmare. We think Sam is bad,but I reckon Shane is Worse!!!

  16. Its a big relief..., now my wife is at me to get tested.

I was dreading the fingers up the date, but i found out you can find out with a simple blood test.
