Boy problem please help?

ok i just started high school and there's this guy that totally cached my eye and he happens to be in my homeroom class which is drama. i think he is really cute but i really don't know him and tomorrow we have to choose partners for improv and i want to pick him but i don't know if he wants to be my partner. do i just ask him ok do i just partner up with one of my friends? well its really confusing so please help

just ask him this way you will get to know him better

just go up and say hi my name is  (your name) do you want to be my partner?

then when you are in class just start small talk with him it worked for me :)
