Boy trouble!dont judge me!?

Question

okay this is kindaa long and confusing

at the end of sixth grade i started liking this boy a TON but i was stupid and i had only liked him for a week when I asked him to dance with me at the semi (slow dance) and he did..it was weird

then during the summer into seventh grade we were always talking on IM and stuff..and he was flirting..he'd say stuff like "im gonna try extra hard becuase your gonna be watching" im a cheerleader hes a football player.....and he'd be playing around and stuff..

then in seventh grade we started hanging out with this group of people .this S****y girl (who he used to go out with) one of my bestfriends..and another girl..and two other guys that i kindaa know.so we would be hanging out together and he would still be flirting..

then later in seventh grade..i asked him out..i talk without thinking A LOT! he said no of course..then he started going out with his ex-girlfriend (S****y girl) and now im goin into eighth grade in less then a week..i know its gonna be weird..but i really like him still!!!!

okay dont be a jerk..i was desperate then..i didnt think about anything that i said..i said what i wanted to when i wanted to..but im completly different now so DONT JUDGE! but i just want to know.should i stay liking him..(it'll be hard to get over it) what should i say??

im totally confused please help!

i went through that too. but i got over it because it was completely pointless. just do what you think is right.

Well it seemed like you were pretty good friends so just act friendly around him and maybe a bit flirty, not to much as his girlfriend will notice haha.

You may "stay liking him" whether you want to or not. Continue to be open. See if you can do things together. If he shuns you or says "no" to an outright invitation, move on and get over it.

Well from my point of veiw you cant just stop liking someone, and if you can than it was never that serious. you either like him or you dont and if you do then tell him that. Just be very casual about it because guys dont usually like getting too emotional, and just be casual. he can only give you one of two answers, and if he does so that he's not interested then (not to sound cold hearted but it's the truth) fine, bite the bullet and move on there are so many hot guys out there, i know you can find one just fine, sorry if i sounded arrogant but i really hope i helped.

I really liked a guy too, and he turned me down.  I couldn't stop liking him because I liked him sooo much.  I asked one more time about four months later (after trying hard to impress him, talk to him, etc.)  You could try asking him out again (if hes single now?) if not, give up on him.  It'll take a longgg time to get over him, but eventually, you will!! Never ask a boy out!  Men need to chase women, or they don't appreciate them.   You do not have intuitive abilities when it comes to guys.   When you get older, read the book "The Rules".   It will tell you how to get boys to be crazy over you.
