Boycott Jersey?

I cannot believe what I am reading about the jersey care home. It gets more horrific by the day. I also cannot believe that a whole community could cover these vile crimes up for years just to prevent the UK govenment taking over the running of the island. Have these people no heart? no shame? What about the poor children? didn't they have a right for somebody to defend and look after them? I for one will NEVER set foot in Jersey, NEVER give them my money. They should be taught a lesson, everyone should stop going to that disgusting place. Where would they be without tourist money? I hang my head in shame for being a part of this world that can allow people like this, who can abuse, tourture and murder innocent babies and young children. What kind of a world do we live in?

  1. Shocking. I would like to support your cause by not watching bergerac from now on!

..and i'm not going to wear any either.

    Those Jersean b******s.

  2. After the occupation of the Channel Islands during WW2 - I do not think the UK.gov wanted to really know the truth about what happened there during the time of the n**i occupation.

I have seen film of the liberation of the Channel Islands by the Royal Navy - the people there looked really half starved and skinny - so heaven knows what the Germans were doing with all the food - probably using it to feed their army while the people starved.

So what did happend after the war in the Channel Islands?

Mainly the Channel Islands were left alone - almost self governing.  This meant little or no control by Westminster.

And, who were these kids in care?  Were they the result of liasons between local girls and German soldiers during the occupation?

I have met a few Channel Islanders in my time and the word 'strange' is stamped all over their foreheads - just don't ask me why I thought that and still do.  Something about them as a people.  They say they're British, but I just don't believe it.  They seem to behave in a rather cruel and inhumane manner to my mind.

From what I'm getting on the Internet - it seems to me that there was a massive paedophile ring on the island of Jersey and probably spreading right across the Channel Isles and that probably at it's core was Edward Paisnel and others just like him.

    Horrific.

  3. All I have heard thus far about this story is anecdotal evidence. Even the apparent "skull" fragmant that was found was found to be a piece of wood. Personally I am not going to be infliucting my own personal sanctions against the people of Jersey on this hearsay evidence

EDIT: means nothing to me until I hear the evidence! This is just circumstance and conjecture.

  4. To be honest I have been pretty put off that place too.  Its all down to politics, its shocking to think these kids had no records, I wonder how many more care homes did the same though?

  5. Its disgusting - I wont ever be going there.

There is no punishment great enough for those sick b***ards.

  6. Bring back the death sentence.

  7. Yes my heart breaks a fresh one each time I read about the Jersey house of horrors. This disgusting practice is borne of a group of people who weren't answerable to anyone. They had ultimate power and they were completely corrupt with it.

I just hope, that those who are still alive that are responsible for any of the abuse that took place be publicly tortured to death or to an inch of death - let them live in endless pain for the rest of their days. I don't care if they are OAP's now or not. The same should be done with anyone who sympathises with them or defends their case.

  8. I take it that you lot are going to exit the UK A.S.A.P in protest of all the sick violent crime that this government is doing NOTHING about. What a silly thing to say "I am not going to Jersey" If you don't leave these Green and Pleasant shores, where on earth are you going to travel to, there are sick crimes being committed in every country in the World!!!
