My boyfriend's family seems to always be in a bind for money, they spend it as soon as they have it and then don't have enough to pay the bills. We are in college and trying to save for our educations and future together. She consistently asks him for money, she has borrowed at least $1500-$2000 in the last year. She paid back some of it, but for one $500 loan she agreed to pay his $50 phone bill for 5 months. This was supposed to start in June, but she didn't do it so it was supposed to start July. He thought she had paid it but just found out from the company his bill is overdue. What can we do in this situation?? I am worried this will continue after we graduate from college and have our own bills to pay.
