Boyfriend's parents trouble

Question

ok so I'm an 18 year old g*y kid who had a 16 year old boyfriend..only a year and 3 months difference, birthday wise, and his parents didn't know we were dating for the past two months and i wanted him to tell them but he was scared so eventually they found out and they don't approve and wont let us see each other...i'm thinking about writing a letter to his parents because they don't want to meet me and i think this is the only chance i have..the letter is pretty much a plead to get to know me and reconsider...any advice on this??

they totally don't understand, parents never do.

even if they read the letter the still aren't going to accept you, because that's how they feel... its probably the g*y thing

I wouldn't do it. You would only be setting yourself up for disappointment. The fact that their son is g*y is probably pretty tough for them let alone that he has a boyfriend now. I say give them time, if he really loves you then one day they will have to also. That is however if they are decent parents who will truly love their child no matter what.

right the letter, give them time if they didn't know he was g*y, then try and see him

well maybe you should weigh your options first: if the kid's parents don't want to meet u in person, what would a letter do? And maybe you have to consider that its not u that's the problem, maybe the parents just can't accept that their kid's g*y or something (not that there's anything wrong with that but some people can be so narrow minded:) Maybe you also have to think, what gud wud it do? Wud it make them like u? Maybe its not worth it. Maybe u don't have to put yourself on the line like that. What does your boyfriend think about it? I know its full of maybes but u have to weigh all your choices after all...
