know its' the wrong section but I think you guys are a little more creative than the people in the previous section I posted this in. Please help me! :)

Hello All,

I was hoping that some of you can give me ideas on how to celebrate my BF's b-day this year. He's turning the big 3-0 and I wanted to make it special since it's a milestone. But here's the problem ... his sister's getting married that week-end so I will need to do something the exact day. :(

Any ideas will be appreciated. Please keep the x-rated suggestions to yourself... I mean besides "that". Thank you!

  1. u should deff get him a giant pickle!

  2. my fiance is turning 30 on the 22nd and he is a big nascar fan and every year i get him a nascar cake but he also like mint chocolate ice cream so im going to make him that myself and also jsut have some if his close friends and family over and im making him his favorite foods, and he likes to play cards so we are just going to be hanging out and have a good time, guys dont really care all too much but at least make the effort to make and do the things he likes and it will be all good!!

  3. Do something sweet with him. Take him to breakfast. Get him a small gift. Whats something he is into. If he is a business man, get him a nice new watch. Spend the morning with him. Have some one on one time with him. Take him to lunch. Give him another present. Say if he is into shoes, get him the hottest newest shoes. The go out, and do something fun with him. Be a kid again. Go to a carnival, so to an amusement park. Then take him out to dinner. Give him another present. Say he is into movie watching, get him a good surround sound system. Don't do his birthday on the same day his sister is getting married though. His birthday will be to rushed that way. Do it the day before or the day after. Just remember to tell him happy birthday on the actual day. I don't know what he is all into. But just give him gifts for whatever he likes. You know him the best. If you wanted do a restaurant birthday and invite some friends.

  4. BOOB BIRTHDAY CAKE........  all men love that!

  5. nice dinner....

    a car...?

hhahah my dad got my mom a car for her birthday.

[she hated it. so she gave it to me hahaha]

but yeah she liked it until he got her anoother one.

  6. i did my husbands's 3-0 the week after his b-day. he and my mom are three days apart and she was 6-0 so i told him I'd take him out for drinks and that his friends would be there but because my mom is older obviously and turning 60, thought it would be better to celebrate her b-day first. He totally understood...

low and behold, me and a few friends took him to a K of C (knights of columbus) for drinks, lights were out and we open the door. 105 people were sceaming "surprise". he almost fell over...

and seeing it's the sis's wedding, explain that you want to wait till that rush is over and you promise to do something soon...

  7. Take him for a nice lunch at his favorite restaurant and do one of his favorite activities! Then, try to arrange a small get together before the wedding with some of your personal friends and guests from the wedding.

  8. My advice is to meet him that morning for brunch or breakfast... bring him a cake (it's okay to eat morning cake on your birthday... :D)  Then, I would give him tickets to a concert, show, or restaurant he really likes... that way you guys can still have a night celebrating just him, instead of it being overshadowed by his sister's big day.

    have fun!!

  9. Give him a one of a kind massage and tell him that you have more in store for him once this wedding thing is over.

Book a weekend at a nice hotel and do whatever.
