Boyneside Ade expected to win Shelbourne A2 525
Boyneside Ade is expected to convert his runner-up ranks into a glaring victory when he runs in the Shelbourne A2 525 at Shelbourne Park on Wednesday, May 23.
The Mason-trained white and black dog looks to be confident enough to compete against five worthy rivals such as Annacurra Wood, Presenting Oscar, Highview Coast, Manilla Byron and Daretobe Mine.
The Grade A2 contest over a distance of 525 yards will start at 21:25 (GMT). The prize purse contains €350.
Boyneside Ade has a number of A2 races to his name. From April 13 to May 18, 2012, the three-year-old young and talented hound participated in 6 such events in a row, finishing as a runner-up in two and claiming top spot by the big margin of 5 lengths in one contest.
Prior to this, the brilliant son of Crash out of Shalome gained two consecutive triumphs each in June and September 2011. The maverick runner has gained many favourite tags in his career so far.
Ahead of today’s event, the dashing dog has fully girded up his lines to unleash a big run and accomplish a sterling success.
Boyneside Ade is not likely to face enough resistance in the race; however, two of his competitors like Presenting Oscar and Manilla Byron will be able to perform well.
Presenting Oscar elegantly grabbed a classic triumph each on March 8 and 29, 2012. The Gilbert-trained black dog moved on to get four thirds in his subsequent goings.
On the other hand, Manilla Byron has just one victory to his credit. The trainee of McCreesh earned two consecutive runner-up positions in November 2011. The brilliant black dog finished 2nd again in his last start on May 12, 2012.
Thus, Boyneside Ade will be able to make his way towards victory convincingly. The only thing he needs is consistency of stamina and pace. Once he manages to take an early lead, he will definitely dominate his competitors today.
The event will be fantastic to watch. Let us go for the thrilling action. Good luck to all the hounds who are going to show their guts in the coming contest.
