Boyneside Banty favourite for Stadium Bookmakers Sprint Trophy - Heat 3
Boyneside Banty is likely to win the Stadium Bookmakers Sprint Trophy - Heat 3 at Nottingham in England on Monday, July 30, 2012. A cash prize of £125 has been set for the winner of the Grade OR event.
There are some decent runners lined up for action in the 305 metres event, which is scheduled to start at 20:51 GMT, thus the competition will be a close one.
However, Boyneside Banty has got a better chance of winning today, thus the punters should place more bets in his favour. He has been priced 4 to 1 by the bookies, which shows that they expect him to be fighting at the front.
The black hound has taken part in quite a few Grade OR events, thus he knows how to handle pressure. His performances in them have been pretty decent and there is a very good chance for him to finish at the top at Nottingham.
The J. Hayton’s trained hound debuted back in August 2011 and put up a solid show in his first outing, finishing runner up. He followed that up with a victory and kept on displaying solid speed in different events.
However, the young hound was unable to make an impression in his first ever Grade OR event, where he was priced 10 to 1 by the bookmakers. He got off to a slow start and did not have a clean run at all, which cost him a chance of fighting at the front. He
finished fifth eventually, which was a discouraging sign for his team.
Boyneside Banty had to wait until March 2012 before getting his maiden victory in this class. He was not given the best odds for victory back then, but still impressed one and all with his speed. He was lightning quick at the start and got a lead of over
four lengths before crossing the finish line.
Head Bound’s son out of Generosity kept on delivering some decent results in this class over the passage of time and his recent form has also been good. He has triumphed in two out of his previous five Grade OR appearances, which shows that he is in a nice
shape right now.
However, the favourite runner will have to be at his best in order to succeed in presence of Wells Honour, who is an equally good runner.
