The hound who has been the most consistent throughout the season is Boyneside Banty, Head Bound’s two-year-old black son out of b***h Generosity. The first five races of his new season were second positions one after the other.
He broke into the season on 13th January and scored second in a 483 metres race at Doncaster which was won by Swift Julie who reached the other end of the wire in 29.94 seconds while leading Boyneside Banty by a mere half length.
Then again on 21st January, Boyneside Banty was the first one to join the winner Magna Fiddler, on the other side of the wire in a Grade A2 483M flat at Doncaster.
Magna Fiddler timed the track distance in 29.99 seconds while it took Boyneside Banty 30.05 seconds to race through the same distance.
The 2/1 favourite of the race, Nuke Breeze, finished fourth.
Third second position made its way in the form of the Grade A1 Kindly Sponsored By Vikingracing.Co.UK at Doncaster over483 metres on 11th February. Clocking the distance within 30.62 seconds was the winner Boxer Keeffe while leaping for the second
spot was the 5/4 favourite runner up Boyneside Banty.

Next start on 18th February, Boyneside Banty was the 2/1 joint favourite runner up in the Grade A1 Kindly Sponsored By Vikingracing.Co.UK  at Doncaster over 483 metres. He missed the winner’s spot by a mere shoulder’s distance as both timed the
trip in 30.37 seconds.
The other joint favourite, Boxer Keeffe, was the last hound to leave the track.
Last time till yet that Boyneside Banty came second was in the Owlerton Bookmakers Sprint – Duplicated on 28th February at Sheffield over 280 metres. The race was taken away by the 11/10 favourite, Black Silver.
The only time that he has won and that too also not long ago was on 6th March in the Qwlerton Bookmakers 280 at Sheffield over 280 metres by racing through the track in 16.19 seconds.
His eighth start will give him the most desired second victory today.
