Boys at Tosconova trained at Gulfstream Park for an allowance test on 23 December
Boys at Tosconova, who did not participate in the Harlan’s Holiday at Gulfstream Park on 17 December, 2011, over a distance of 1 1/16 mile on dirt, is eyeing a much more simpler test before kicking off his 2012 campaign as a 4-year-old for trainer Richard

Jay Em Ess Stable owned 3-year-old colt is at Gulfstream Park, preparing to defeat allowance company on 23 December, 2011, where he will be sent off as the odds-on-favourite to win the race.
After Flat Out on 20 December, 2011, at Gulfstream Park, Boys at Tosconova was the other notable entry to turn in a work out, as he blew out an easy half mile work in 52.96 seconds.
The Kentucky bred son of Officer, out of mare Little Bonnet by Coronado’s Quest, Boys at Tosconova has been lightly raced in the year 2011, and he has only dwelled in allowance claimer company for his two starts that he made the entire year.
He was to make his 2011 stakes debut in the Harlan’s Holiday, but pulled out of it as an early scratch. This year, Boys at Tosconova, kicked off his season with a third place finish in an allowance claimer at Belmont Park on 8 October, 2011, under jockey
John Velazquez.
Over a distance of seven furlongs, Boys at Tosconova, was making a comeback to the races after 14 months, as he finished strongly in third behind Uptowncharlybrown and winner Tapizar.
He is now exiting a victory in a 6 and a half furlongs allowance claimer at Aqueduct race track on 11 November, 2011, where he went on to defeat Hillswick in second and Starforaday in third, while Boys at Tosconova captured the race in 1 minute and 17.46
seconds.
His last race for his debut 2010 campaign was the Grade 1 Breeders’ Cup Juvenile, where he finished runner up to winner, Uncle Mo, at Churchill Downs over a distance of 1 1/16 miles under Ramon Dominguez.
When he came out of the race, Boys at Tosconova went under a nuclear scan and was found to have suffered a quarter crack which sidelined the colt.
