Boys can play contact rugby.. but girls can't?

Question

At school the boys can play contact rugby but the girls have to play tag rugby which is boring and pathetic.

Why?! It's not fair.

Really? Demand your equal rights! Frankly, I would prefer to play touch rugby though. You get less people hitting you in the face and you don't have to d**k around tackling people that are twice your size.

At School you can't unless you get special insurance.

It simply costs too much.

That's all it is.

Just join a local club.

lets face it you may have b*****s and they could be quite painfull iff impacted plus you dont want broken noses and stitches .it doesnt matter as much for boys as they will just look more rugged when they,re older.Beleive me you will appreciate it when your older.

Schools do not allow girls to play is it is a male orientated sport though saying that many rugby clubs have womens teams.

Also the schools do not have enough staff that know the rules of rugby, especically women PE teachers to take girls rugby groups.

They have girls high school rugby in California.

Are you in New Zealand? Girls can play contact rugby here.

We are world women's rugby champions, but even here it is not terribly common because most girls don't regard it as feminine.

Girls can play contact rugby, here in wales their are many teams even a international side.

Go to a club. Not sure which country you are in but in the UK most clubs are coming to terms with the women's game which maybe because if they want national lottery money the people who decide the grants frown on clubs who ignore half the population!

Girls can in the girls squad so thats not completley unfair.
