Boys or girls talking first......? Are boys and girls starting to talk at the same age....?

I was told boys talk later.

With my experience with my sons and nephews, girls do talk earlier & they talk faster than boys but boys crawl first and walk first.  Boy exhibit some physical strength more than girls.  Their mobility is really more obvious than girls.

I have a 4 year old and a 19 month old and they both started talking around about the same time - with quite a huge influx of words at around 18 months - but Im sure my son was talking more at the age my daughter is now - different personalities - shes alot more laid back but maybe also because he was my first so got more one on one attention.

My mom said my brother and I talked at pretty much the same time, but my she said my brother "talked" more.

as a mum of 11 kiddy's girls tend to talk allot faster than boys but boys are much fast at crawling +walking  on average

i have 4 girls +7 boys and every one of the girls were quicker at talking
